Bob's 80th

My friend Emma asked me to make this card for her as she couldn't find a suitable card for her friends Bob. The papers are all Graphic 45, A proper gentlemen range and the hat inside is also cut from those papers. I don't normally enjoy making mens cards but once I got started I liked this one, hopefully Bob liked it :)

I'm back

I'm finally back to the world of blogging! I've had a few very busy days as Danny an Poppy have both been teething so I've spent a lot of time running up and down the stairs at night, luckily Milly is still a little young to be cutting her teeth but I'm sure it won't be long til I have all 3 crying - arrgghhh!

Anyway, inbetween all the running up and down the stairs(wonder if I've managed to shed anymore post baby weight?!) I've been making sme invitations for my neice's &th birthday party.

She's having a pamper party in my sister's hair salon so I thought I'd do her something very posh and grown up to go with her 'grown up' party. The stamp is the greeting farm and papers are just some plain cardstock I've had lying around.

Punch it

I didn't think I was ever going to get my card finished tonight, Danny and Poppy have both been a little bit under the weather so I've spent most of my evening running up and down the stairs to sort them out. However, thanks to Milly-moo being an angel as always and sleeping from 8 I managed to get a card done to enter into the challenge at http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/.

The theme is punch it, I don't have many punches so there's only the one little bit of 'punching' so fingers crossed it counts!!! I'm definately going to have to invest in some more tho cuz it makes the card look even prettier :)

I've used a magnolia stamp, papermania buttons, the sentiment is a stamp from unity. Once again I've been completely useless and have no idea where my papers are from :(

Cute card Thursday

I've had a lovely evening crafting at paper scissors craft monthly meeting. It was the first time I've been along and it was fab, I had so much fun I didn't want to go home! Can't wait til next month now :)

While I was there I put together my card for the challenge at http://www.cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/. The theme this week is mono mania; making a card with shades of the same colour.

I've used a magnolia stamp coloured with my promarkers, papers are making memories, buttons are papermania and the sentiment is a stamp I borrowed off Katrina at our little get together this evening.

Hmmm, now what to do with the rest of the evening??? Danny seem's firmly settled infront of the xbox (again) so it looks like I'll be doing some more cards :)

A spoon full of sugar

It's been a long hard day today, Danny and Poppy have decided to run wild all afternoon and there's just no stopping them - I'm definately making the most of Milly being a new born while I can, it won't be long before she's running after them and I'll be chasing 3 toddlers!!!

Anyway, the theme of the challenge over at http://www.aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ is one for the boys so here's my handywork.




I've used a magnolia stamp of edwin and customised him to turn him into an old man by drawing a little moustache on him. Not too sure what my background paper is but the polka dots and diamonds (or old mans socks as I like to call it) are my mind's eye.

Well it's time for bed, my book's calling me to be finished!

Anyway Danny is still playing his new computer game so it doesn't look like I'll be watching a film anytime soon :( Oh well, looks like it's off to bed with a vampire book instead, so it's not all bad :)

Sketch and Stash

This is the card I've made tonight following the sketch over on http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.com. I've used one of my favourite magnolia stamps, she's just so adorable and my new Prima flowers from http://www.stampeezee.co.uk. Once again I have no idea what paper I've used but from now on when I but paper I'll make an effort to know what it is :)

I've had a very busy day today, we took the kids out for a walk to town fo an hour and it ended up lasting 6!!! Oops :s

On the plus note, today's been quite lucky for me, I picked the winner on the grand national and won my first ever blog candy (Thanks Grace, can't wait to get my hands on it). I'm beginning to wish I'd bought a lottery ticket now tho!

I was going to go and watch a film now I've finished my card but Danny bought a new computer game today and is completely engrossed so looks like there's more card making to be done - the joys of being computer game widow :)

my first challenge

I decided to be adventurous today and make a card for my first ever online challenge, now to figure out how to actually link my blog to the right place!!!

I've used the sketch over at http://sundaysketchandstamp.blogspot.com and am also adding it to the challenge at http://anyoneforanya.blogspot.com/.

I've used a C.C. desgns digi stamp and coloured it in with my trusty pro markers but have absolutely no idea what papers I've used (I tend to lose track as I have to keep them well hidden from my little terrors).

Oh well, time to clear away now I've finished crafting for the night and then I think it's time for a well earned bowl of chocolate triffle :)

Here goes nothing...

This is my first ever blog and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!!! Just wanted to say a quick hello to the crafting world (not that anybody knows I'm here yet) before I go to bed and try and get my head around how to actually get my blog up and running properly. I'll be back tomorrow and hopefully upload a picture or 2 of my more recent cards that I've made.
